photoblog image dance to past life melodies

dance to past life melodies

moon's silvery smile

alloys the stains on vacant floors

witness to a timid dance

of untied feet

swaying to the fleeting rhythm

of curled up stories

in an everlasting tune...

Wonderful composition Iris! I love the way you've set the little violin player in focus- with the dancer as the background!
iris: Elizabeth, thank you very much for your kind words! So happy to hear that you like it. Wishing you a beautiful weekend full of music!

Do her melodies sometimes also focus on future dances, Iris?
iris: Yes, Ray, they do. Actually, they are her future, her lifelong companion.

Strings, visible and invisible, walls, visible and invisible, emty, warm floors, visible and invisible...a needed balance, an endless mind wandering, a precious equilibrium between past and future, all the shared presents in the palpable present...a home...the strenght, the fragility, the need, the dance, the soundtrack, the voice, the rhythm, the pulses, the steps...and an avalanche of verbs!

Iris, thank you so much for this exquisite image!
iris: Oh Codrin, again you amaze me with the way you are feeling everything, with the way you are seeing the invisible upon the visible.
Your so insightful words, with which you are unveiling the reality of the unseen, are touching me deeply. Multumesc asa de mult, Codrin!
And you're so right.. finding the equilibrium between past and future is something incredibly precious. Its elusive nature makes it hard sometimes. But once we are aware we can abandon ourselves completely to the pulse of our present.

Remembering the applause after a great show of skills.
iris: behind drawn filmy curtains
echoes settle on the empty stage
reminders ever present

A day filled with Norwegian spring poetry to you, Aksel! smile
Another poetic image Iris, and I didn't even notice the poem as I wrote that!
iris: Edward, somehow it took me a bit too long to reply, but, I am still touched by your words. They mean a lot to me, thanks so very much! All the very best to you!
