I've been to Barcelona last weekend, mainly to visit Antoni Gaudi's work, who is one of my favorite artists. This is a detail of the ceiling in the top floor of the Casa Milá.

Oh wonderful: I wish I'd been there too!
iris: It was truly awesome! I'm still searching for the right words to describe what I saw, but all those impressions are definitely unforgettable.
This is just wonderful. I love the atmosphere!
iris: Thank you, Richard! Yes, I loved the atmosphere as well, even despite all the tourists.

Gaudi's work is amazing..
I've been to Barca before..it's sad I didn't have my camera with me at the time...

this works very well in B&W
iris: It really is, isn't it. And a picture can merely indicate that.

Amazing picture, wonderful play of lines and light/shadow.
Must have been photographer's heaven....
iris: smile Oh yes, that's true. It definitely is a photographer's heaven. But although I had my camera with me all the time, I didn't use it that often. Most of the time I just wanted to let Gaudi work his magic on me.
love the composition here Irissmile
iris: So happy you like it, Tim! smile

You know? Talking about greys, talking about some favorite color, what you did here, what you're always seeing is so essential, creating new frames, drawing some incredible tangents, some so unforgettables...yes, details! Thank you so much Iris!
iris: Codrin, eu iti multumesc tare mult! Yes, details are so essential, so powerful, they are enriching narratives and make them come to life.
And you know, talking about tangents, I never liked mathematics. But I remember the day when we talked about tangents for the first time. I was fascinated by them right away and I still am. I simply love the idea of this 'touching' moment.
