…and so he did, he flew towards the sun,
as he was wrongfully advised
until the son of Daedalus fell down to his death
for the melted wax has turned his feathered wings
back into useless human hands…

no one’s left to feel the breeze
no one’s left to welcome what’s to come
iris: Always those high-spirited kids.. smile
He should have listened to his father instead.
But everyone has to make his/her own experiences I guess smile
Technicalities:
Well composed, Ms. Iris, though I'd be tempted to pan teh camera a bit to the right.
The trees... The photograph would benefit a lot, if the trees and the figure looked much softer. A layer with teh gaussian blur can help with that.
iris: I think I get what you mean with the trees and I'll definitely give it a try and work on it once more. I do appreciate your advice very much, Viktor!
absolutely love it Iris, dark and mysterious just how i like itsmile
iris: You like it dark and mysterious? Ah.. good to know, Tim smile And happy you do smile

I like the square format, the angle, and the point of focus which gives an air of mystery
iris: To give an air of mystery.. yes.. that was my intention indeed. Happy you noticed, Paul smile

Very mysterious feel to your photo, Iris. I didn't see the woman in the background at first. She so one with the trees.
Your angle give it a feel a world out of kilter..a world inhabited by all sorts of unknown energies.
iris: A world out of kilter.. oh my, Suzanne, that is a pretty good expression for what's going on. Thank you so much! And let's hope, these unknown energies will be of a good kind only smile
I like the tilted angle.

Sorry I have been absent for a while. Home situation makes me focus on health. I hope to be able to come by a bit more often from now on.
iris: Oh Chantal, I'm sorry to hear about your home situation. I send you all my best wishes!

A perfect release, to embrace the wind, to feel the wings, to dream of what's to come! Beautiful, Iris!
iris: I think we need a breeze to be lifted up and to feel our wings. The wind reminds us that we have a pair and should use them - not only in our dreams.
So, spread your wings and embrace this brand new day today. May it be a very special and uplifting one for you, Codrin! Multumesc foarte mult!
